Strengthening the Value of Religious Moderation in Islamic Boarding Schools

This article aims to describe and determine the value of moderation implementation in Islamic education at Al-Fattah Siman Boarding School Sekaran Lamongan. uses a descriptive qualitative research design. The study’s data collection methods were interviews, observation, documentation studies. Data analyzed using analysis. results on values ​​in Lamongan show that; 1) Understanding ​​of is basis for formation character santri who practice adheres principles Ahlussunnah waljama’ah understanding with tendency or wasaţiyyah through Aqedah, sharia. worship morality. 2) carried out several stages, namely planning, evaluation. 3) applied three activities, teaching learning religious-spiritual skills supporting activities; 4) moderate four strategies, introduction, habituation, example, practice; 5) Evaluation divided into forms, program evaluation, evaluation process outcomes.
